| How's it worth it? Well if you have a use for 500hp I.E. some form of racing. If you just want it so you can say you have that much power, then you don't need it. In many cases hp is used as a crutch. I don't know why those people sold their cars. How many people keep their cars is a better question. ANY car can be a hassle. Thats part of the sickness. As others have said, its an evil spiral that consumes so much of our time and efforts. After a certain point it can loose its value. Like Anithero said, some times the cars are built up so much that they can't be enjoyed. Can spending 2k just to loose 2/10th's on the 1/4 be justified? Really that's up to you. Its something that's not supposed to be understood, or nescicarly make sense. As I said before; If you don't know why you'd want 500hp, then its not worth it.
